Not to stay behind Beijing (see earlier entry), Shanghai will put condoms all over the city so there will be no more “blind spots” to promote safe sex. By 2011 you’ll find them anywhere: hotels, bars, beauty saloons (hmmm, maybe when having a hair cut?), massage parlors (why is that?) and KTV (maybe to cover the mike?). I suggest they hurry up so they’ll be ready for 2010.
By the end of November 200,000 condoms were distributed to about 30,000 people working in the entertainment sector. All according to China Daily, but no mention of the number of prostitutes over there. Maybe the police is too busy with other things to count them like Beijing.
